Who We Are

Our Story

Having studied, designed, & created products for over 5 years, Anders Vu entered the industry with aspirations and hopes to revolutionize the reptile world by bringing creativity, craftsmanship, & quality to you and your pet's home. Anders' love and fascination for animals started when he was a small child watching Animal Planet and the Crocodile Hunter all day. He wanted to be just like Steve Irwin and knew that he wanted to work with animals when he grew up.

In early 2021, his brother brought home a lizard which re-sparked Anders' interest in reptiles. Soon after, he brought home his own lizard. When he realized he couldn't find products that lived up to his high standards, he decided to create them himself.

Thus, Magtara was born in the Fall of 2021.
